Everton are among a host of English clubs keeping tabs on Dutch starlet Bob Schepers.
The 18-year-old is under contract with SC Cambuur until 2012, but that has done little to curb speculation surrounding his future.
Widely regarded as one of Europe's most promising talents, the teenager's star has been on the rise for some time.
He has already represented his country at U17 and U19 level and is expected to break into the senior fold sooner rather than later.
Such potential has not gone unnoticed outside of his homeland, with numerous reports claiming that he could soon be on his way to the Premier League.

Cambuur director Alex Pama has confirmed that Everton are one of the clubs to have expressed an interest, while it has been suggested that Manchester United are also in the running.
"There is interest from English clubs and clubs from the Eredivisie," Pama told VoetbalPrimeur.nl.
"However, Everton is the only club that has contacted me about Bob. It's not concrete yet, but they have scouted him regularly this season. Everton have been following Bob since the youth World Cup last summer.
"We'd like to keep Bob, but we are open to a transfer if Everton or another club are willing to pay a decent transfer fee."
