The other year it was - Get Stones into Mid Field wasn't it @davek ?...how many games did he play there for City, yet couldn't a game there for Barnsley
I remember shouts for Jagielka
And Yobo.

Though it has to be said, Holgate did one or two games there in a dire emergency - he's the exception that proves the rule.

He had a fragile mentality before the injury. No doubt the injury hasn’t helped the situation but when we got him from Barca there were reports he hadn’t took well to criticisms from their fans. I was a big fan when he joined and he seemed to play with a bit more confidence during the loan spell but since we made the deal permanent he’s gone off the boil big time.

The Carrick-role I thought would suit him.

He can challenge and he doesn't shirk a challenge. I just wouldn't want him in the last line of defence. He can pass very well too.

I think we could use him here. Gomes is an utter waste of cash.

No he actually can play there. It was explicitly said when he signed
 

Barkley would be a great player in this midfield... Preferably grealish.

We need a player who can break the lines. Beat a player through the middle and it opens up the game.

Gylfi should not play again. Gomes.... Not sure how many chances he needs.
