no, that's the Welsh and Geordies Dennis.

Gascgoine could so easily have qualified for Wales maybe, played with Giggs, Southall, Rush etc in that side of the 1990s, got free tickets to Tom Jones concerts and sang Land of my Fathers with Jimmy Twelve Bellies, or whoever he was.

Hi there, need your advice once again. Got a text from my English mate today, saying the West Ham game has been switched to Eater Sunday. Great news for me, as it means watching one more match on the Saturday. There quite a few options looking at the fixture list for the various divisions.

I"m looking for matches within a 1 to 2 hours travel radius from Liverpool Lime Street Station here. Obviously, Bolton, Burnley, Stoke, Preston, Stockport and Oldham fall into that category. Any ground I'm overlooking though?

Seeing I'm flying in on Saturday morning, my safest bet will probably Preston North End. Am I right in thinking I need to get off at Preston (Lancs) station. Also any idea, how far is it from the Station to the PNE Stadium?

Some cracking games on there for you Dutch, as others have said Burnley vs Man City will be a good atmosphere and Sheff U Barnsley or Cardiff Swansea will both be feisty if you can get to either of them.

Would love to go to Sheffield United, as I've been holding a soft spot for them for years. Don't think I have enough time left to make it to Sheffield though, after arriving in Liverpool at around 10am. As said, think Preston North End will probably my safest bet.

Liverpool mate. As said will arrive at around 10am and have to check in at my hotel first. So my first opportunity for catching a train will (if all goes well) probably at around 12 o'clock.

Anyway, how far is the PNE Stadium situated from the Station?
