Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian

The Unobstructed View
Tony Hibbert will miss the game at Blackburn after injuring his thigh in the win over West Brom.

Everton boss David Moyes confirmed that the full back had been added to an injury list that already includes Mikel Arteta, Yakubu, James Vaughan, Nuno Valente and Victor Anichebe.
Hibbert is the only fresh injury problem after Saturday's 2-0 win over the Baggies.
That means Leon Osman and Steven Pienaar are fit to continue after they returned to action in that game.
Joleon Lescott could return to the starting XI after he was an unused substitute at the weekend.
Lescott's four bookings this term are not now a risk after the FA amnesty for yellow cards kicked in at the end of February.
Louis Saha is also in contention after his impressive display as a second half sub last time out.
And Jack Rodwell returns to the fold after a dead leg forced him to miss out against Tony Mowbray's men.
Everton: Howard, Nash, Baines, Lescott, Yobo, Jagielka, Neville, Jacobsen, Rodwell, Castillo, Osman, Pienaar, Cahill, vd Meyde, Gosling, Fellaini, Jo, Saha.

Yer im going. Not looking to forward to be honest. Id play the same team, but with Lescott in for Yobo, Osman in for Fellaini and Saha in for Jo

Play like we did today well lose or draw. Good to see injured players coming back so it gives us a chance if moyes gets his tactics right and we get no set backs.

Saha looks hungry.

Could be a good idea to play the team he has in mind for the cup game so they can get a bit of match practise so we ain't so bloody disjointed.

Until half of them get injured at which point it becomes a crap idea.

Be a tough game this. I'd take a decent fluid cohesive team performance and a loss over a crappy disjointed affair and a win. Cause the former will mean more for the rest of our season than 1 game.

Hopefully we get a decent fluid cohesive team performance and 3 points!

you going down with Bluns, Dom?

I agree with the changes but harsh on Yobo he played well.
If we have all these available, then I'd go for;

Howard
Hibbert - Jagielka - Lescott - Baines

Gosling - Rodwell - Neville - Pienaar
Osman
Cahill

I'd be all for playing a weakened side and keeping injury prone players like Cahill and Saha on the bench. Blackburn did play well against Utd last week so it should be a tough match.

A tough game given Blackburn really need to gain a few points now. It will be close but we'll edge this by a single goal.

Blackburn 0 Everton 1

I reckon it will be another x-rated affair like the newcastle game last week - only this time we'll be playing against 11 men - rcard

Sneak a point and pray we dont pick up more injuries/cards :(
