Bit disappointing

Anfield after that gutless three nil loss they did the same thing. I fumed.

One of my worst visits to the Pit, and one of the reasons why i am glad the Ginge as gone, but I have been next to Victor on a few occasions and like I say one miserable t+++ .
Some players don't realise how fortunate they are, remember years back when The late Brian Clough made a visit down the
Coal mine with his players to teach them a bit of humility, and show them how lucky they were.

Totally agree mate, it's a disgrace isn't it? Some grown men didn't wave at other grown men after they've just run in the heat for 90 minutes? Shocking! I mean, these people went to the game for the waving didn't they? Can't think of any other reason, so they must be distraught

Call me a softie but I would, or at the very least, I would raise an eyebrow.

Went to the 2 and meet and greets in San Francisco and it was good fun to have photos with Howard, jags and hibbo at various times. Q and A with sharpie and elstone was ok. I believe the open training had hardly anyone went.I too felt the players could have made a little more of a fuss of the pockets of Blue as they left the field, less for the likes of me as an old geezer but for the younger ones especially the locals it would really make their day to see the players as a whole come a cross for a brief acknowledgement and photo opp Especially after the penno win which was good craic. Not exactly the stuff to throw away season ticket in protest but these little touches are good.

Was thinking at the Blackburn game what someone like Kone thought when running out to see our end full for a pre season friendly and almost as many fans as he'd play in front of last season

There's no excuse for ever taking that kind of support for granted.

Didnt they have fan greeting days?

Im shocked you say American fans are obnoxious, shocked here.

They did have a meet and greet with Martinez who was a true gent and Felli who was...well...Felli.

Probably 80% were English actually, and most of them were scousers.

Wondered how long it would take to meet the first knob on this forum. Hello dead_soft...

I think the fans who turned up in miami and California did deserve better.. The real Madrid players spent ages signing autographs and giving t-shirts to the kids and such, our lot paid little or no attention to the fans... It may be that they were disappointed but we were a few hundred bucks down not 25 grand better off! Anyway, grateful to the club for arranging a decent US tour but a shame didn't know how to make a real impression amongst a new fan base.. Think bigger everton.

They're also getting paid hundreds of thousands of pounds every month, it's not even a massive ask is it? Just walk 50 or so yards, stick both arms in the air and clap a few times to thank the fans who will have travelled hundreds of miles to see them, thousands in the case of the English fans who went.

I work every day in 40 degrees heat and can still be gracious to the people who pay me. And I don't earn quite as much as premier league footballers.
