It appears we have signed 19 year old portugese Silva.
Beckford is allegedly on his way in.
The scottish international at blackpool is supposedly already signed.
That looks like three strikers coming in this summer. We still have David Bowie up at motherwell. Darren Anderton on loan at Leicester.
If all these signings actually happen, and we keep the strikers we have, is this the list?
Saha
Yakubu
Anichebe
Agard
Baxter
Vaughan
Juke
Beckford
Adam
Silva
Is this the reverse Walter Smith approach?

Can I cut down your list a bit?

Thanks.

Agard - probably gone
Baxter - midfield and I wouldn't be surprised if he goes
Vaughan - wouldn't be surprised if he goes
Juke - wouldn't be surprised if he goes
Adam - isn't he midfield? if he's coming...

So I'd settle with (and say it could still do with some perking up)

Saha
Yakubu
Anichebe (kind of midfield/winger/striker, currently, and not doing too badly)
Beckford (see what he's like)
Silva (see what he's like)

And we havn't actually signed Adam, and he isn't a striker.

Im a bit miffed that we're looking for strikers - as it would mean a fair chunk of money to improve on what we have - which should be prioritised for a right winger and centre back.

We only play with one anyway if we played with two i could see the sense.

Same here actually. Our main problem this season hasn't been to score goals, it has been to prevent the opponents from scoring. We need to strengthen the defending before strengthening the strikerforce.
