No, but Baines does other fantastic stuff and bombs it round everywhere.

I thought Billy had a better game today than usual.

He was quite lively and making a lot of crosses into the box and linking up with Baines. (Something he usually doesn't do as much.)

He's not as good as Drenthe, but he definitely had a pretty decent showing today.

It would be good to see him in his international position for us. He might do better, but it still would not make him suddenly capable of handling the rough and tumble of the Prem IMO, despite his undoubted skill. Anyway we'll see in January, because he will want to be playing regular football if he is to go to the Euros.

And as said above, confidence will help bily progress, so the fact that everyone gets on his back over a mistake is stupid, especially when players are making worse **** ups than him

Osman, counter attack passes it to Coleman with too much pace out for a throw in.

You can go on for an age about 1St team players and their cock ups mid game.

Bilya was told to whip balls in. He did. Was he why we had zero shots on goal? why we lost?

There's 3 or 4 players that shouldn't start a game for us before bilya. And I believe he's not cut out for the prem. Says a lot

Again i ask just what we have to lose by giving him even 3 games behind the striker?

Gueye can play left who can't be much worse but the game time can only help and if he doesn't score in 3 games he's on his way to being level with Cahill and Saha.

Bily's awful.

No 'Moyes plays him in the wrong position' or 'he's not been given a chance' or 'he lacks confidence'.

He put some good balls in today and was alright by his standard, but in comparison to what you'd expect for a 9m player, quite poor as usual.

Not defending him overall. But he was the only one that created anything ala crosses more so than Coleman, but yet was taken off for cahill who did nothin or Coleman.

Tactics. Something Moyes knows little of

Yeah I agree, one of his better games today and was one of the better players on the pitch - but that wasn't hard and if any other players were playing near their normal standard he would have been poor.

Wanted to see Barkley myself - if ever there's a time for a player who likes a shot (sometimes frustratingly) today was it. Baffles me that Moyes put the Straq on intstead.

Yeah today was a funny one for Bily.

Made at least 4 very crap mistakes, twice failing to control a ball, once scuffing an easy cross and that "shot" which went for a throw in.

Yet Played some good passes and put some good crosses in and was finding some good positions so still had more of an positive effect on our play than some players.

Its like he goes from being an 8/10 player to a 4/10 player within 5 mins of each other, as oposed to being a 6/10 player constantly.
