You're 100% right.
He's been plotting since the Moshiri money tap was turned off. That money tap was his chance to be a hero.
In his eyes, I sadly believe that Kenwright = Everton, and Everton is Kenwright. Go back to the sale to Moshiri when
he claimed to have waited for the 'r
ight one'.
I've said it before, but Everton was/is
his club. He wasn't seeing himself as the custodian of the club because if he did, he'd have walked away by now.
How a person with only 1.3% of the shares can still wield so much power is a testament to how he's manipulated the situation to retain control.
Moshiri kept him as chairman to support this 'period of transition' - but what does that mean? Where are we transitioning to? How is it happening?
Right now, we're still in the same position, with their own greed being a part of MSP pulling away (overestimation of value) and no sign of any change soon.
Yet, we hear nothing from our esteemed Chairman or the rest of the board, so we're in a position of the fans and the owners being unable to communicate.
Everton's demise is down to him more than anyone or anything else.
