Trying to keep emotion out of it (which is hard cos of how much I detest the road), why is he putting himself through this?

It has to be because his ego will not allow him to step aside, so close to being able to tell everyone the new stadium was down to him.

If, he has the so called health issues, he should step away from such an important role. He should be actively trying to seek someone better, which won’t be hard.
