lets not get things wrong here, he did save the club from the Peter Johnson era, mortgaged his house etc, however, it is always best to leave the part before you are asked to leave. He should have gone some time ago.
Is that the same Peter Johnson who built the park end? The “remortgage” nonsense is pure comedy gold, how much do you think his house would of been worth back then? why didn’t he use that to secure funding for the kings dock if it was worth so much? People need to question things more and if its left the lips of a proven liar they should question it again.

If you see a thread made by him you will understand how much of a hypocrite they are
Not really. I started the other thread because I don’t believe we will go down. I believe our squad is too good to go down, and I believe the new manager and our squad back to full fitness will take advantage of some of our upcoming fixtures. What Bill said is an absolute joke. Good times?. When?. Most people on here probably weren’t even alive that last time Everton fans had a good time. So me believing we won’t go down, and Bill saying Everton fans have had good times is not the same thing.

ok mate

I was sat near where he went for his half time brandy. He had a laugh and a joke with Davies, who was wearing what looked like a skirt. All I saw was a dishevelled old man at his own little soap opera. What he did have was Tony Bellow as his own version of minder at his side. I don't think Kenwright is long for this world never mind Everton.

increasing his shareholding = buying out Johnson, I'm not defender of BK here btw, but lets not forget what a mess we were in when Johnson was here
I remember it well, Johnson had lost interest in the club and some of the stuff coming out of people who worked for the club was shocking.
I had one of the employees pm me on blue kipper ,quite regularly with club Info, at the time of Kirkby , but I gave my word
I wouldn't let on who it was from ,
it wasn't hard to fathom out who it was, but to this day I wouldn't put it out there, not fair on him, and I wouldn't break my word anyway.
it wasnt Bill by the way .
Who was on the board with Johnson at the time ,which gets almost forgotten.
Kenwright made that decision in his own interests.
I am sure others would have bought the club off Johnson, surely he wasn't the only option?
Bill should have stayed a year or two and gone , his legacy would have been a lot better.
I don't wish any harm on him at all, he should just accept his time is over and its time to go,
I think its about 15 years to late but its doing this club no good having him around, with his cronies, football has moved on time he did.
In fairness to him he is a convenient shield for Moshri to hide behind so he does have his uses
Look at the make up of are board for a modern club,
An owner who obviously knows nothing about football and need direction.
Bill ,
Bills mate , who successfully run the football charity to her credit.
An ex player who in his last football job , had Oldham fighting relegation to the third tier .
Cahill, I can see the sense in to be fair.
You can see who has his hands all over the make up of that,
never mind he has no say
Its like years a go when you had the local butcher, factory owner running the club , its well passed it date and not fit for the modern world of football.
Ps I know your not sticking up for him , he just winds me up.

there's nothing I disagree with there fella

This 'you've had good times' lark. It is the difference between him and the club and the average fan on the street (end). He's out of touch with the fans and our motto.

Maybe he like Evertonians of his age or my age generations and generations can talk about the good times, because we've seen them down the years, but the last 25-30 years the generations of fans now will not know what it's like to be a successful football club at the top. That's our future fans. He needs to get his head out of the sand I was going to say his backside, and go. The club can't progress if the people in charge are not that bothered or can't see the world around them.

We haven't had good times since 1995. There's been times where we've shown promise and quality football, but ultimately a club of our stature expects more.

Good times are measured on success, which we've had none in twenty-seven years. We've never been close for challenging for the title.

On average, we've qualified for Europe once every four years. We've had one cup final, which we lost, and six semi-finals from both cups (out of 54).

Our record away from home against the top-teams has been atrocious, with a handful of victories at most and against some (Chelsea in the league) none.

The 80s were good times - only the optimism of 95-97 came close.

You're preaching to the converted pal

Good times are being average instead of fearing relegation every year you ingrates. Having us barely tick over and go into some seasons with just about 16 players in the squad and selling our best players for large fees to fund keeping the squad average are amazing things this man has done. Give him a stand, a statue and a mausoleum at BMD please.

YOU'VE HAD GOOD TIMES

He’d have been ran out years ago across the park. Imagine them lot being told that they’d had good times if they were on the brink of relegation and hadn’t won a trophy or qualified for the champions league in 27 years.

I doubt they’d have had much time for the I’m the world’s biggest fan act either. At Everton, simply just supporting the club seems to give you a pass.
