BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT?

olivier dacourt always peed me off, thought he could have been so much better.

seeing how his career turned out, matterazzi was a huge dissapointment for us, could have been so much better for us

Both of them good shouts. It seems like even every time we did have money to spend we still got shafted in some form or another by the player.

but my biggest dissapointment has to be that hibbert will retire never having scored a competitive goal for anyone, not just us ha.

it is a bit romantic, but at least i got to saw the goal vs AEK, never celebrated a friendly goal so much

Aside from the obvious like Bily, Beattie and Van Der Meyde, I thought Magaye Gueye was going to be boss after seeing him at Preston away in a pre season friendly, and James Vaughan through no fault of his own.

Jelavic, I really thought we would finally have a boss striker, it never worked out :(
He gave us a lot to cheer about in his first season though, I miss you Jela :( making me cry thinking about him.

Alex Nyarko.

cost alot of money and was tagged the new Viera. Looked superb in pre season, scoring a cheeky back heel v Man Cityand all looked great. Played very well in the opening couple of games and then Archie weilded a bat and he found God.

That moment at Arsenal when he walked off the pitch after being challenged over his commitment was one of the lowest points of following this club. Dark days sadly.

yeah, we sold him for a disastrous fee, was way way way too low imo, regardless of our finances.

Just wait, the "his transfer fee saved the club" line will be spewed any minute now...

telling united to up their price or to lose him to any other club in the world within 6 more months would have been better like. he was always going to go, and his fee may well have saved the club, it would have saved us better if we got his true worth though ffs.

I remember having this strange nagging feeling of disappointment in the mid 90's, Felt like I'd been carrying it around for months and couldn't put my finger on it. Then I awoke one night, sweat pissing off me, I let out a roar,
'DANIEL AMOKACHI IS SHYTE'
Hearing myself say it made me feel instantly better.
