i have a thearoy for cases like this ie; nolan got what a game or 2 ban we lose vic for months fair i dont think so! for me when a bad challange causes a serious injury to a player the offender (nolan)should be suspended until the injured player (vic)is fit enough to make the first team squad thios would deter such challenges in the future

Without wanting to sound nasty, if he had not recieved the injury, he may not have been at the club following his antics last season so i dont really regard his set back as a blow.

This.

He started to pick his game up after being bollocked by moyes. It was an eye opener for him to get in check...then Nolan did him.

Very sad indeed.
I was hoping he could get loaned out for a while, and then come back and cement a first team place.
Nolan has had his fair share of cards, though I don't think he would deliberately injure someone but who knows.
I agree a 3 game ban isn't enough.

Imagine a Chelsea player told to deliberately injure Rooney for tactical reasons.
There really isn't enough deterrent.

I agree, after the incident he was looking the stuff, and seemed to have a completely different attitude to before. If it had been that bad there's no way Moyes would have been starting him. Was completely rotten luck. (or a completely rotten Nolan challenge). I remember there wasn't a big deal made at the time bcuz it wasn't considered a serious injury, I think Rathbone said it was just badly bruised.

Anyway, ranting aside.. get well soon Vic! :)

Madness. Can 'o' worms there Pad.

Vic is still learning. Makes a good impact sub and always puts a good shift in when put out on the right.
You know he's there during a game, unlike some others! :o

Get well soon Vic and fight for a squad place.
