I was like that a week ago. Wasn't even arsed about going, then I started to get excited about the start of another season, bought a ticket and now I'm beginning to think ahead to Big Dunc coming on.

Every season I say to myself, can't be arsed going to friendlies / testimonials any more, and every season, like a stupid schoolboy, hope begins to build.

Nah they just sold out yesterday. There were a few left in the Paddock on Friday night but they must have gone.

Exactly what happened at my first Everton game. He was my hero and I was so excited to see him play. Was against Derby County, he played 9 minutes then got sent off for elbowing someone. Pretty sure I cried haha.
