Jesus a Big Dunc testimonial is like the most nailed on good will banker they could get and still they manage to screw it up. Should have announced it sooner and drowned the store with nostalgic Ferguson memorabilia, particularly all the kits he wore for us with his name and number on the back of them. Think about it, he was idolised by pretty much every kid back then now they're all grown up and will have only ever had the kids size shirt which unless they stopped growing when they were particularly young will be a tad tight by now so they'll be in the market for an adults version... Not going to earn us millions on its own but it's exactly the kind of obvious marketing/commercial opportunity we seem to completely miss on a regular basis, if we start taking advantage of this kind of thing on a regular basis it all starts to add up.

Oh whilst I'm here, my tickets are in row Y lower Gwladys, it's a couple of years since I've been to Goodison and i have the memory of a goldfish... Is Y going to be right at the front of the stand or right at the back? Can't remember which way the lettering goes and I'm on mobile so I can't use the view from your seat thing. Taking my nephew so the closer to the front the better

As alphabets go mate Y is always near the back but in regards to the Gwladys street you've got double lettering going all the way back to 'NN' I think so all in all your probably just behind halfway back in the Gwladys

Not complaining about the technical hiccup KUEFC09U2, mistakes happen, I was talking about their perpetual incompetence in marketing this club. I went in to the store ready to drop some cash getting a couple of vintage NEC shirts with Ferguson on the back so me and my nephew could strut in to Goodison collars up like it's 1995 all over again, failed to find a single thing Duncan related and ended up going on eBay and picking up a shirt there for £20 (nephew will have to go without but the heathen doesn't even know who Dunc is so screw it.) insteaof givingd the club my money as I wanted to instead of some randomer
I hardly think the rush of people buying tickets was the reason for the problem

Fair enough then if them two the technical glitch and the ticket sales was a coincidence. I thought the two were linked and if so then it is embarrassing, that our website can't handle a few thousand people trying to get tickets for a testimonial it's hardly Glastonbury re-sale.

It's a system that's used right through a premier league season so I am pretty sure it can handle one off fixtures
