He’s not like DCL - he’ll not hold the ball up and win free kicks but if you play it to feet so he can run on he’ll do better than DCL and that’s how he scored a few last season. But…. we didn’t do that - at best we just lumped it up the pitch and he’ll never do much with that.

You also have to rely on the opposition and how they are set up as well if that’s the case. Has to be able to adapt his game.

He can't adapt he is solely a player that thrives on through balls and that is where he gets his goals from. DCL is opposite...a good hold up player but not a one on one striker

Love his effort but some basics you really just have to do as a pro. The team can't accomodate him on every pass.

Really want to be proven wrong, but genuinely think he is not a very good footballer. Even last season when he was scoring, none of them seemed to be natural goals. Seems to run and run, but just technically is not up to it

It does make me laugh how some people expect the majority of the players to be 10/10 at everything but think it’s fine for Beto to be excused for repeatedly looking abysmal if we didn’t play 48 inch perfect through balls for him.
