It was good to see Beto alert and switched on for his goal; not so sure Barry would have been ready to follow up on Dwight McNeil's shot.

That's exactly what he did do after Martinez's fumble in the Villa game and scored with a much more difficult finish

Think thead is one of the worst strikers I've seen here, with only Niasse, Angell and Stracqualursi being in the conversation with him, but you have to give credit where it's due and I think he probably had his best game for us yesterday.

Most of the time, I think opposition teams look at their most dangerous when Beto gets the ball because he's bound to give it to them and let them counter, but yesterday he ran channels, held the ball up ok and did well for his goal.

Did really well today, put himself about and tucked the goal away nicely. Pleased for him.

It's great to have a forward that doesn't go down in agony every time he collides with a defender.

Yes, the images can be deceptive unless they are straight above the able or straight down the line. There are angles where a ball that is actually still in play looks to the naked eye like it has crossed the line.

I think that's a little harsh on him. He is a limited striker, that's obviously true. But he gets about, works hard and when he gets a sniff of goal he usually manages to put it in. He's scored more than any of the others you mentioned combined despite being a forward in a Dyche team for half his time at the club.

Barry is definitely an all round better player and who I'd pick as first choice but we could definitely do worse than Beto as a backup.
