Of course I just meant if they pay us 15/20m now we might be able to bid that money on another striker. If Beto is a loan we won't get another striker in on loan, no other club is that daft
I can't see the sense ( financial or otherwise) of loaning him out unless we have another striker lined up.
I could see the sense in taking a risk ( and it would be a significant one unless we think that this season is a dead rubber) in selling him for a good offer and not replacing until the summer .
Either way if he goes I'd be very surprised if we didn't replace him in some form or other

EXCLUSIVE | Fenerbahçe's loan offer for Beto was rejected. Fenerbahçe also rejected Everton's proposal of a one-to-one swap between Beto and En-Nesyri, due to Nesyri's demands. Everton demanded 20 million euros for Beto, causing Fenerbahçe to walk away from negotiations!

Like @Milkman said, surely a lot of these conversations can be done over the phone or video chat. That would save loads of time, especially as it's so far into the window.
Youd wonder who pays for the flights and all, Beto or the agency - say he had a nice little Suite in Istanbul as well.
Bet he wished he’s just used Zoom now.
