In Italy I'd imagine his strength bought him a lot of time against defenders. Over here, it gets him nowhere. Could see a couple of times today where he thought he'd done enough to hold ball up only for the defender to come back and take it easily.

We shouldn’t be in this position year after year. You don’t have to be super big and strong to score. For all the big guys like Haaland, there are plenty like Messi, Ronaldo, Salah, Kane, Son, and on and on and on. A wise green guy says size matters not. Beto lacks the skills plain and simple. He’s just not the guy here in the PL. Neither is Barry. The experiment is long over. Keep these two until the second we can sell them with an upgrade, which is just about anyone.

Not got it in him to change how he plays. Just a really bad player - will go down as one of our worst strikers for sure.
