Remeber Duffy potentially dying if the physio wasn’t so insistent and having attention to detail that he went to hospital.

His dad used to post on here too I think

Forgot Seamus being told he might have to have his toe amputated….

Might be wrong on the exact injury … think he ruptured his spleen or severely damaged his liver

His dad posted post op pics and he had a huge scar and without that hospital visit he could have died

Might have been on kipper back in the day as it was a while ago

I think Beto is marvellous. He is the only centre forward who can muscle his way through a whole defence and still come up with the ball, sadly his finishing
is about as good as DCL, I'd keep Beto for his heart . The last centre forward to take control of the ball from our defence was ' The Latch ' , he like Dalglish
had an Arse on him like a 'Bombay Moneyleander.

Didn't he get an infected blister at one point that threatened his career, or was that someone else?

Centre forwards are the most expensive players to buy and we did pay a high fee for him, but it's starting to look worth it.

Never seen a player with pace and power to get through on goal like him since Lukaku, but he actually seems more grounded.

That not Michael Keane? Got some sort of leg infection and ended up in hospital? Remember it being that he could have lost his leg or foot or something.

Back to slotting again tonight

On vacation. It must be said. Maybe Moyes is telling him to stay healthy or something idk. Would like to see more energy in the 2nd. Didn't get any service in fairness but needs to come out a little more next half.

Looks like one of those nights for him.

He should at least be laying the ball off but he's snatching at everything.

You can tell there’s no true trust in him as a long term striker by the reaction of another bad performance. The fans (correctly) don’t believe in him, despite his recent goals. We all want him to be good for obvious reasons, but given his age I really can’t see him ever being able to control a ball.
