I think it means they're paying us in big bags of pennies."Burdensome" fee meaning a 'high fee' for a loan i suspect?
So not quite an obligation even though it says it is?
Wonder if he would of been better in our team than mykoObviously, thelwell is horrendous at selling players.
Remember nkounkou? Left a €1m option to buy in his contract. Did really well for etienne. So they bought him for €1m and instantly sold him for €7.5m to Frankfurt.

Hopefully this one day will become known as a "Harrison" !!!Is it a cheeky loan with no obligation to buy?
Havent seen any good sources suggest hes leaving yet tbh.Good point. Just feels there’s too much chatter about it though for the deal not to be close
We robbed Spurs and Villa in the not too distant past. Great deals for Richy and Onana. When do we ever get a good deal for any of our players?
Am trying to remember where I read about that as well but it talked "glowingly" about Moyes scouting and analyses methods. I want to say it was "The Nowhere Men" by Michael Calvin. There was a chapter on it. I'll try and dig out the details....Can't remember where I heard about it, but Moyes had a basic system using a series of whiteboards which he used to narrow down targets based on position, analyst feedback, meeting with them/their agents etc... Some would say "shrewd" some would say "dithering", as rumours that we also missed out on a few during his tenure. Not sure his methods work with the modern day Directors of Football - but agree it was good at the time for us.
Beto wasted by the fraud manager developed he would have made a good player
Agree, very difficult to assess any strikers true worth in this current Everton team/set up. Not sure how many games he started but the last one, man u was it, Pele in his prime may have struggled to notch. Looked to have a decent attitude and wudnt surprise if starts scoring again at a diff club. Wish him no ill.Beto needs to play football. Wherever he ends up, I hope he gets regular playing time. Good luck to the guy.
