Probably deserves a start next game. DCL looked a bit leggy. Our all round forward play was abysmal today.

He will struggle with hoof ball needs DCL in a deeper position if he starts TBH ....

His interview was quite something. He certainly loves his football and no one can accuse him of not caring.

If you are going to pump it long, I guess there's an argument to play 4-4-2.
But I think the only time we did that and played Dom and Beto together was the second half against Luton at home last year but it really didn't work.

He's not a target man in the traditional sense. He wants to play on the shoulder and get runs in behind. I bet he'd have slotted a couple of more of those DCL 1 on 1s....problem is Beto would probably find himself offside

He might get a start against Southampton (I doubt it but you never know) but I guarantee if he doesn't score, DCL will be back in and given another 10 game run.

His 1st prem goal of the season if it had come off his backside for you lot it would have been goal of the season Pleased for any blue to grab an equaliser in a game we should have got beat 4-5 -1 .... think on 442 worked with HOOF Ball .... credit for Young's composure with the cross too stood next to him Keane in the middle not one man ....

Aye I agree. He won most his headers but there’s never anyone there to pick them up. Whole team’s forward play was horrific today. It was Ndiaye’s worst game for us, if McNeil doesn’t score he offers little and Harrison looks shot of confidence.

I don't, i'm consistant. Beto gets a fraction of the game time his rival for the shirt gets too.

There is a reason for that though. It's usually the case for any player who struggles to get game time.

He did start one of the games in the run in last year over DCL so it does happen on occasions and ultimately he had two of the three shots on target tonight despite only being on ten minutes.

Goal clearly meant a lot to him, hard not to like the guy.

Despite not looking like a natural at this level, I think there is enough there for a good coach to get a tune out of him.

In fact i think he was kicking it away in disgust because he knew he was offside, but mishit it and hit the goal instead

Needs to be playing in a completely different system. Hoofing balls up to him all day is completely useless
