If we aren't playing balls in front of him then there's no point of him being on the pitch. One lazy get when he's going up for a header

Felt he was on on his heels a bit tonight even for balls played ahead of him. Service was cack but saw a few I felt he should have been a yard or two closer to contending for. Just poor tonight. Overall he's still not good enough despite netting some goals.

Striker definitely a prime position to be sorted in the summer

Moyes always had fairly predictable subs. No surprise to see Young come on at the end.

I love you as a poster but I have to respectfully disagree.

Moyes doesn't tell players to take it easy.

These have sussed us here..push our midfield back and Beto might as well not be on the pitch.

Beto needs our midfield pushing up to slide in the through balls in.

Moyes need to change it here.

All guesswork by me. Today he looked a bit sluggish and not at his usual. I do think we gave him next to no service. Even the good chance he had was not the best angle and the keeper was ready for it. I do not think Beto created today like he usually does. It was his first nothing game for me. Even in the Brighton one he won the penalty. We have gone on our longest streak in whatever with him in the team so he has obviously been a big factor in that.

Had zero service other than alcaraz...when alcaraz plays, he creates good opportunities for beto and he is unlucky not to score tonight. Great save by the wolves gk. With doucs he is just battling for second balls...

He's a yard dog lads... take this run of goals and hopefully some foreign side see him as an option in the summer and we recoup majority of the money we paid for him.

Up against two athletic CBs he was always going to struggle. Doesn’t help he was saddled with the two worst players on the pitch for most of the match, Garner and Doucoure. No surprise his best chance came from Alcaraz running at the defence.

These are the games that highlight his limitations however.

Tbf he didn’t get a lot of chances. But he got isolated too much because clubs are planning against that. As soon as Charly came on we started seeing nice feeds to Beto.

I think the thing is that most teams will quickly suss out that if you can stop us playing him in with space to run into you've virtualy stopped his whole game. Only time he looked anything of a threat was the breakaway with alcaraz.
Need a bit more than that in your locker over a season.
