and in front of their blue masses behind their goal as they start and dare to dream about cup semi final day with liverpool

best moment...the famous Bayern Munich night, sat in the top balcony.
Recent worst....flying over for the Newcastle game 2 seasons ago when we lost ...was gutted and an absolute waste of money

People thinking the worst Everton defeat was Wigan under Moyes maybe want to re-visit home defeats to Tranmere or Port Vale or Bradford (joe Royle). Just too many kids on here i guess.

Best for me would probably be Inchys winner in the Semi at Arsenal,I think we knew the cup final was ours and we were back

Worst, Its been mentioned before but that 3-2 defeat at Anfield was bad,one minute we were singing Easy Easy Easy next minute
the wheels came off.
Also the 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford the same year to the same team in the cup semi was hard to take.

Though I've 'lived' through some high's and low's the main ones that stick out in particular would be:

Best - when arteta levelled the agg score v fiorentina. It was a moment of pure brilliance that culminated a superb amount of pressure from the players and fans. I think people underestimate how good the atmosphere was that night, especially after the goal. Of course the result wasn't right but that moment was absolutely spot on!

Worst - there are a few contenders, but that villa 3-2 defeat at home in 08 (I think) always sticks in my mind. Its odd as ultimately it didn't mean that much in the league. I just remember at the time us and villa being on a par for the 'best of the rest' title. We seemed to dominate the game but let in sloppy goals only for lescott to get that last gasp equalizer, go ape sh!t then watch as young waltzed through the other end and slot in the gladwys right in front of me. I just remember that blurt martin laursen absolutely giving it loads to the everton fans. Horrible get him! That game summed up how ridiculously quickly emotions can change whilst watching a game of footy

Best - The moment Arteta smacked that beauty home to bring us level in the tie v Fiorentina, that was my Bayern 85. I legitimately went deaf for about 5 mins cos of the noise and ended up bouncing about 6/7 rows down from where I was sitting

Worst - That lanky ****ehawke Carroll heading the winner in the semi, ruined my first ever trip to Wembley

It was more the fact that it was a cup quarter final and we gave one bad sh*thouse display at home. Didn't really matter about the fact it was 3-0, could of easily been 5-0 or 6-0 we were that bad.

As I walked away from the stadium, I hid my scarf up my sleeve. Bunches of Spurs fans on each corner shouting "C'mon you scarse ****s, open yer marvs......" Was scared but elated at the result. Three brilliant goals that night and a truly wonder save from Southall. When he tipped that over all the Spurs players put their hands on their heads.....They knew we had them that night....title race over.

that was the stupid thing I remembered thinking.. imagine being a Spurs fan who just happened to have something that sounded like a scouse accent. going down there was just praying for a draw to keep us ahead of them. think the media still just assumed Spurs would catch plucky 'no stars' Everton. the title was definitely all over that night but didn't properly celebrate till was well clear of those classy cockneys. Think the next game was Sunderland at home and we went behind and then really showed who the best team in the country was. that was the most smug I remember feeling as a fan

Best - Wembley semi final in 09, first expereince of going there as was only 9 in 95
Worst - As people have said Wigan last season and the rs at wembley last year, but one that sticks out for me personally is Villa cup quarter final at home in 2000. I was absolutely gutted after that as think they got 1st division bolton in the semi.

Best: Numerous to choose from, 09 Semi, Gosling Derby, Lee Carsley Derby, getting thrown out the home end at Bolton when Lescott scored the winner from a corner in injury time a few years back, but think would have to say the Bayern Semi, an unbelievable night.

Worst: Again, loads to choose from. Tranmere 0-3 under Smith, Wigan in the cup last season, any of the Derby's were the ref has conned us, but worst of all has to be the Semi last year, against the worst RS side in living memory and bottling it again. Left when they made it 2-1, knew there was more chance of them scoring again than us equalising, and was no way I was waiting to listen to that effing song

I felt ill at half time in the Goodison Derby last season. I think I'd got over excited during the first half

Never felt like that before or since at a football match

I wasn't even happy or sad, I was just worn out from the drama

I can sort of relate to that feeling, at the game on Saturday after doing a bit of singing I felt sick, I had to sit down and slowly breathe and I felt dizzy.

I feel nervous before every game and I always have to sit down and slowly breathe.

A Walter Smith side f*cking up shouldn't surprise no-one, the best XI of all-time Everton legend David Moyes choking at home to Wigan Athletic without so much as a whimper was an absolute embarassment, and far worse because the two squads were on completely different levels.

I know what you mean actually. Nerves can get to me sometimes

I think that one being the Derby probably made it worse for me
