Best part of GP, worst part of GP?

Best - Top Balcony, at the Halfway line, 4th row up (where i sit) - great view.

Worst - Lower Gwladys near a corner flag.

Ive sat in most places in Goodison, well in every stand actually, even where Kenwright stis :), and the front rows of the top Balcony are great.

I sit there.:@

It depends really. For atmosphere the only place to be is the Gwladys street. If you want the best view possible then that isn't the place to be.

I like Gwladys st I have spent most of my time there, all my youth was there, than I tried other places on cup games but to be honest all my mates are close so why move our Harry is now next to me and I think I will miss the rest of this season so my Daughter has the job of taking our Harry but next season even If I cant go I will keep my ticket and let our Tracy take the boy.don't see why he should miss out because his Nanna and I are past it:lol:

I sat there last season, literally right next to the flag (Bullens side) row D or something...its good close up - it was great for goals like Carsleys Vs Birmingham, but you never have any perspective of the opposite half - at all.

...Plus the most annoying thing - which includes most of the gwladys - THE SUN

Only get to the ground (or the UK in general) every few years now (weddings and funerals really!), so where I happen to be sitting doesn't bother me in the slightest (though wasn't impressed with the away section after driving up from London with 3 Spurs supporting mates for a 0-0 in '01!), but being there at all is all that matters since I can't be there more often.

More generally - I don't like the fact that we've got officially the widest pitch in the league, yet we haven't played with wingers since Kilbane and Davies were trying and failing to make that system work...

Bugged me for years and makes no sense to me to have our pitch better suited to other side's tactics!...

It's a great view from the Top Balcony, but don't people find it's like watching a bunch of midgets playing with a tennis ball? :D

The corner of the Upper Bullens, next to the Gwladys is a pain in the arse for that, mate. When I book a ticket, I usually pick around the centre of the UB, slightly nearer to the away support. But paying on the door for Boro I got pushed into that corner and was squinting the whole game.

How can anyone say the Gwladys Street is the worst. Its were the action is at. Ive been going to GP for over 20 years and ive only ever NOT sat in the GS about 5 times, thats cos we felt like a different view. Everywere else was just boring. I sit near the middle, 4 rows up, possibly not the best seat, cos you cant see much down the ParkEnd, but most of the time WHO CARES. :D. If i wanted a good view i would watch it on Tele.

Best : Gwaldys Street
Worst Top Balcony, fear of heights and 20 flights of stairs, also its like watching from space.

Best: The improving of the snack selection and relative prices against other grounds.

Worst: The Chang.

Your joking right? Surely you have tasted 1 of them fecking hotdogs? I mean the pies are alright, but they appear to nuke them and i normally buy 1 pre-game and am able to safely eat it sometime around halftime. Any earlier and the risk of 1st degree burns to my mouth is very high.

Hot Dog? This aint the states pal.

Its only acceptable to munch on the pies (very good) and the sausage rolls (good).

You protesting for cheerleaders at half time?

If you step up, you know you better be ready boy.

(Still watching The wire, its FECKING AMAZING, im on Season4 now, i just dont want i too end, Snoop, Chris and Omar are WIN)

And i just thought i would get 1 once, cos the Q is normally smaller than the main food place. Dont try to play me, i aint to be played by a street punk like you.

I sit there too.(y)

best for atmosphere lower Gwladys, best view - directors box

worst place - ladies toilets - dreadful - that's why I can't have too much to drink before the game.

I used to go in the Paddock but there were too many moaning pillocks in there.
