I know he hardly ever played for us, but Matteo Ferrari always looked really composed. Shame we stopped playing him because we couldn't afford the purchase to be triggered.

The overseas player (from that time period) I regret us losing over that time was Dacourt. I think he had a lot of quality. I honestly don't know about Ferrari as he dropped off my radar once he left.

To be honest I lost interest when he left, just looked good when he did play.

There's lots or superb players like Limpar but the best really is Kanchelskis and to different eras Cahill, Lukaku and Richarlison is up there. I'd give Howard a shout in goal not forgetting Distin was a good player
