Van Basten for me that Ive watched in my lifetime.

Nets from anywhere, consistently.
Utter class that lad he really was

Closer to home as a sheer finisher of the ball you have to say Rush was one of the best before juventus anyway, poor when he came back though

Shearer in his prime(@Blackburn) was just unstoppable...

Ronaldo(original)was just awesome prior the 98' WC Final and not forgetting the odd flashes of shear brilliance in the 'Galacticos' era...
I remember in the CL quarters or semi he ripped UTD apart at OT.....sweet!

Ronaldo in his year at Barca was incredible. This goal in particular summed him up.

YouTube - ronaldo - barcelona

34 goals in just 37 games that season. I think his problems started there though as defenders would give him an almighty kicking. It was the only way to stop him.

It really was the case. Such pace, such strength, great control and a cool head in front of goal. Obviously, as Italians take defending more seriously than anyone, The kickings doubled when he went to Inter

Seen the likes of Zola and Baggio mentioned and they are two of my favourite players and two of the best players I've ever seen. But without seeing their goal stats, I would never have mentioned them on this thread. I think of them more as Creators.
