Best defining moment this season - so far

Winning 2-0 at Villa after Howard saved a penalty and them missing a couple of sitters in the first half. Winning those kind of matches is absolutely vital if you wanna be up there, and for once, we did.

Defo this.

He's not had a sniff for ages.

Saw this view from someone in another thread and I couldnt disagree more.

Having been on the Liv, Utd, Arsenal and Fulham games recently, I reckon hes had more chances than many think.

Against Fulham for example, he had the chance from a corner (i think) that kind of hit him and went wide. Deu whipped the ball in between goalkeeper and defenders at least twice and he failed to gamble on either for a tap in.

v Utd he did all the hard work against Vidic then shot straight at De Gea. v Arsenal he looked tired, showcased in his laboured run at the big lanky German CB, shooting straight at him. I remember also in the game that Barkley made mince meat out of Ozil and Ramsey (I think), and then wanted to slip him in but instead Lukaku stayed motionless and complained he wanted it to feet.

I think he is a little off colour, but I genuinely believe its a fitness thing. Even West Brom last year took him out of the firing line every now and then. This is the first time hes been the main man in the Premier League, and remembering hes still a baby, its only natural hes going to look jaded.

To summarise, I think yes we could do more, but I also think its quite obvious hes been a little off colour. He wasnt in the game at all v Liverpool apart from his goals.

The second I saw Martinez' eyebrows...

Seriously, there have been a few, boss season so far.

I think as a team, when we were battering Arsenal at the Emirates in the first half.
