Directly involved in us beating Sheffield a few weeks ago. Like it or not he’s currently our best wide option as a sub. And if we ever hope for James to play centrally, we need to buy there already. He’s not great, but he’s better than what’s behind him...

That’s a nice dream. Though I’m not sure why Leverkusen would sell at this point of the season currently sitting in 3rd.

Yeah I agree. He tries to get the ball and tries to defend when we don't have it. But he isn't good at either.

Swap for Olsen would be fine. We save on wages.

I agree, the post you quoted is comical.
Bernard does have something about him but just not up to it in this league. Too little space for him despite having some talent. I don’t think he is direct enough really for us. Maybe in another dimension or another team it could have worked but unfortunately not.

His effort has never been in doubt though.

Yeah I think you are right. Hope he does go to Roma. It suits all parties and I could see him do well in Serie A
