Obvious comparisons to Pienaar.. trust me .. he is better.. much better. Bernard, Walcott, Charlie and Siggy in same side is a proper unit... loads of creativity there.

Probably true but I feel most Evertonians really don't appreciate what Pienaar brought to us down that left hand side with Baines behind him. He was a sensation to watch live, so slick, so sharp, so intelligent, he was the best player Moyes signed in my opinion, yes better than Mikel Arteta, and no I'm not South African.

Pienaar was better.

Difficult to say really. His combo with Baines is/was more obviously better than Bernard and Digne, which bearing in mind this was the first game they both started is kinda obvious.

Either way, he is terrific.

I remember watching him in the champions league and just being really impressed , I was delighted when we signed him. It hasn’t taken much to make him my favourite, I just live watching him . Once he’s fit and got a few appearances under his belt I think we’re going to see a lot from him .

After the last couple of years I just want players to get me out my seat and our two Brazilians do that already .
