I honestly dont know how people are persuaded by him.

I'd love it not to be so because I like creative players, but the feller is like some South American fancy-Dan player that a Championship club fanbase would love but who's not really top notch.

He's not for this PL. I've seen enough of him to know that. Unfortunately.

Tbf, that's utter rubbish, he's the most creative player in the league. Get a striker like vardy who will be constantly running behind the defence and he'd be the leading assisster in the league.

I don't care that he's not big, not many of the best players are tbh.

He's not composed though. I can barely remember him being efficient in the last third.

Played well today, won the ball back a few times and was alive to everything in the second half. Would probably help him if we stopped crossing the ball to the smallest player on the pitch!

davek mate you gotta stop this, you dont have to be big and strong to play in premier league and perform well if you are creative talented winger
If you're a winger in this league you better have pace and be aggressive.

Who do you have in mind?

But you think Dowell should be playing mate,Dowell is nowhere near Bernards level.

You are gonna cringe about that comment when you sober up

He has more vision than Bernard.

I dont want to be seen to be overly-critical of him. He does ok. But he's not punishing on the opposition. Look at his contribution in that respct: doesn't score and barely assists. We have to do better than that.

I dont believe in that outcome, tbf. I dont see that bit of class, judgement and execution that makes the difference. I see endeavour and not much else.

He looks to me like a player who has decent balance and a commitment to play football in an attractive manner but who is simply overwhelmed by the physicality of the game at this level.

Is that Dowell you are talking about.

....I posted some thing similar a while back, which is amazing given his technical ability. I think the statistics support that he does create chances, but he doesn’t run away from players in the final third and can fail to complete a killer pass when it’s on. He took his goal well in the Lincoln game but he can’t be trusted to finish chances.

Saying that, he’s a talented footballer and I think Silva particularly likes players who are confident enough in their own ability to put their foot on the ball and keep possession. He’s a useful player to have available.

Nah can't be having the above just yet, way to soon to right him off. No doubt he has not experienced anything like the physicality of the premier league before as it's showed, however, there has been vast improvement in this part of his game...
