great today. So were Mina and Keane generally but they always fair better against grockier opposition. I like Godfrey's pace and aggression. I just feel like an extra CB was low down on the priority list this summer and now we are paying for it in our lack of depth in other areas.

Never said Lukaku is pony .... I said his general footballing ability is average at best, his finishing and athleticism is very good, but he's also lazy and self serving..... Which is probably why he's never won anything outside of the Belgian equivalent of the zingari league. Anyway, another goal for Bambi today, called him right didn't I???

Now that I've cleared that up.... Onto Godfrey... Those who look at posters who understand football will likely ignore your opinion of him as a waste of money which is good. The lad will be a very good player, lots to learn but learn he will and he's another young athletic player with a good head on his shoulders.

The guy has played 3 different positions in two systems so far. Fair play, he's cracking on with it like.

For me one of them just needs to concentrate on being the anchor and, on balance, it probably should be Allan. It's why I've been so disappointed in Gomes's form - he should've been the key to that midfield 3 balance.

As I've said before. Fast aggressive skillful players should be our template. I've fed up with our players being so nice and mild mannered!

It's defo the system that is the problem, i know Allan misplaced that pass the other day and you can't argue with stuff like that but so far his defensive stats are fairly decent and he leads the league for successful tackles. It suggests that it is more about the system and the teams general shape and the fact they don't keep to it. That is basic training ground stuff for me that should be being practiced day in day out.
