Transfer Rumour Ben Doak

If thats the case, why in the world would the RS entertain selling him to us for 30m? Theyve seen a lot more of him than we have.
Sale of Doak would do wonders from a PSR position. Gives them plenty of scope to do the Wirtz deal and others after. Maybe a reluctant sale, but one they’re prepared to do to finance their bigger ambitions.

because they have the best right winger in the world and the lad wants to play football

theyve also spent 130 odd already and want to sign more players
They also bought Frimpong from Leverkusen for £30M and he is a right winger so Doak is probably the third option for this position.

Another £300k+ a week on the wage bill. I hope Leverkausen screw the RS for every penny the can get and that its a transfer that doesn`t work out.

They didnt spend much at all the previous season, I suspect their finances are fine. If Doak can be a top top player, keeping him to replace Salad in a couple of seasons would make more sense to me.

Sure, i just struggle to see them needing to sell him for PSR. Yes, they spent some cash already, but didnt spend much at all last season.

Doesn’t seem to be the case. There’s a lot coming from their way that a sale is needed because of the wages being paid to Wirtz in particular, and other signings they plan on making this window. Whether that’s completely accurate I’ve no idea.

We won't.

They'd take the money from a Brentford, Bournemouth or Crystal Palace instead.

He'll no doubt look the business, and then we'll be all FFS Fellows beat the first man lad.

It's the Everton way.
Think 30 mill is a realistic price these days for a young, homegrown winger with plenty of potential but has also played 30 odd first team games.

If we give them £30m for a lad who’s barely played in the premier league I’ll give up
I’ve never seen him but I’d prefer that someone from the no mark foreign leagues.
He’s highly rated and played in English football, that’s already a head start over a lot of others were linked with.
