I have no idea who they are due to the writing being in a different language, but there’s a team who play in yellow that I have a soft spot for
3 teams play in yellow

Neman Grodno, got a soft spot for this team myself. Been to Grodno a few years ago when travelling around Europe got a train from Bialystock in Poland to Grodno (takes around 2-3 hours) Quite a nice City, good Vodka, friendly-ish people. Visa to get into Belarus cost £50, took months before the trip to sort it.
I didnt know there was a football team in the city at the time I went though didnt come across the Stadium.

Shakhytyor Soligorsk Good team to follow as they always do well, they generally win more than they loose and have won things in recent history. They play in yellow and every seat in their stadium is yellow.

BATE Borisov - This might be the team your thinking of, they played Everton a few years ago in the Europa League. They are frustrating to watch at the moment because they have a strong squad but an inexperienced Manager who has no respect of the players.

Come on you Torpedo-BelAZ Zhodino’s!

Rolls off the tongue nicely that one

They have been my Belarusian team since I went to watch them play three years ago. They’re the works team of BelAz, who make mining trucks (they claim 1/3 of the world’s total in fact) hence the mouthful of a name (Torpedo being the name adopted by all Soviet automobile manufacturing works teams). Zhodino / Zhodina is a very small town, utterly dominated by the factory. Sadly we couldn’t take a tour of the factory, but the town had the cheapest beer we saw in Belarus - 50p in the stadium, 30p in the pub.

The Gomel away fans. There were only half a dozen at kick off and then 20 minutes in a couple mini buses pulled up right next to the running track and they all ran out.

Torpedo won 1-0. A great day out.

A cursory Wikipedia search reveals it’s because they’re sponsored by the machinery firm their town was pretty much built to supply with labour. How delightfully Soviet

Apologies, I hadn’t seen you posted this about BelAz first! Yes, the factory basically IS the town. The train station stops is even at the factory, not by the shops, houses, etc. Here’s a picture of my mate standing outside it and one of the train entrance (you can basically walk along the tracks all the way back to town, as there is hardly any train traffic. The factory pleasingly has those incredibly loud whistles that go off every time there’s a shift change

Went there to watch the blues and had some ridiculous local vodka that meant I nearly missed the game , at least i wasn’t as bad as the lad who got hit by a tram travelling at about 3 mph though .

bate have had a horrible start to the season though , need to turn it ruh brest but might be easier said than done . I love that I’m talking like I’ve got a clue .

I believe it’s Shakhytyor Soligorsk that I was thinking about! Unless they’re the ones who have a red away kit - couldn’t possibly support them if that was the case

Their away kit is black so your good.
Who are the most everton like team? Just want to know so I can swerve them...
Neman Grodno are very Everton like, were a bigger team years ago, won the cup around 25 years ago and have done alright in the league ever since with the odd season flirting with Relegation.

Once Neman Grodno has touched you....

Slutsk are actually in serious financial trouble and could be gone Bury style by the end of the season, the facebook fan group that now has over 2000 members is a way of saving the club, because a lot of people have expressed an interest to buy some merch, the club is currently setting up a club shop to ship internationally.

Soon there will be Slutsk shirts for all
