I don't think the lad is trying to hammer Rom. However standards are important in any football club. If Lukaku wants to fulfil his potential, expecting him to emulate his goal return more often is a big thing.

I believe the lad can have a coring record in line with the Neymars and the Suarez's but as the poster said, he needs a bit more consistency first.

It's a difficult one this. Lukaku had very little service on Saturday, so he can blame the poor service in this instance. But 'great' players, strikers make things happen. I guarantee there was only one word being discussed by West Ham in the build up to this game...Lukaku. Those defenders would have been dreading facing rom in that match, but with little service, did we see rom using his physicality to bully and intimidate defenders and unsettle them. Of course he didn't.
