Beer, revisited

Yeah, it's strong stuff. I was in Café Delirium in Brussels last year and tried the Nocturnum 8.5%, Tremens 8.5%, Red 8.5% and Christmas 10%. Slept well that night ;)

not a huge fan of most Belgian "living" beers. a restaurant down here has Tremens, thought at a whopping 250,000PYG (about $50... and I can score Talisker for $65).

if you love Belgian Beers, you gotta love Johnny F, who made a push import his beloved cervezas to America, packaging a chunk of them together for easy sampling.

Really like the Gulden Draak too, had that in Poechenellekelder when I was in Brussels and found it in a bottle shop in Edinburgh.

This one caught me by surprise, Sly Fox Grisette, Pottstown Pennsylvania. Was cheap and said 'working class ale' on the tin:

Was expecting a standard lager, it's a 5.6 % Belgian lol. Nice, like a more tasty Hoegarden.

I've got a Cloudwater Grisette in the fridge. One of my fave breweries at the moment, from Manchester though so may be harder to find near Bristol
