Beer, revisited

Boss when first opened, depreciates somewhat if you don't finish it within 10 mins.

Comes in a smart little bottle, though.

Anyway, this is still my go to beer:

heh. we get that down here, will buy one or tw of the larger bottles when it's FIFA15 night. an easy beer with more flavor than the watery lager down here, but still light enough for 40C 60% humidity days.

amusingly we also get a chunk of the German beers I've seen posted the last couple days. German beers never seem to taste as good out of the bottle as they did on my trip to Munich. Hacker Pschorr (any) and Paulaner's Munich Lager are the only I get intermittently.

Probably because it's rare that they're actually made in Germany and shipped to wherever, so in essence they are a slightly different beer. Usually at least.

Heineken here tastes slightly different than the Heineken back home, for example. It's also 5 times more expensive.

Is ale a thing for older blokes??! I can't stand the stuff but everyone I know over 40 odd loves it.

Give me a few bottles of Peroni and I'll be sorted. Sorry lads....

Give these three a go mate as an alternative to Peroni.

Available in most supermarkets and they normally do three for a fiver - Asda doing 4 for a fiver at the mo.

They're all quite "sweet " and the rarities in Ale, as they can be put in the fridge and drank cold ( in bottles anyway ).

Tribute is my favourite ;)

There are so many different types of ale these days you could easily find one you like. Many keg ones too, making the texture more of that of a lager.

Not splitting hairs here mate, but real ale only ever comes out of a cask, the stuff your talking about that comes out of a keg is possibly what's known as " Craft Beer ". This is kind of a mix between the two.
