Beer, revisited

Had this today, an Italian ale. Was really nice and surprising. Described as a herbal/spice beer, can see that.

Tried a few new tastes this week:

Old Speckled Hen in a nitro. I probably prefer Boddingtons, but this is nice:

Blanche de Chambly from Unibroue. They make really nice stuff, and this seems like a lighter alternative to La Fin du Monde:

Ommegange Hennepin. Everything Ommegang makes is superb, and this is a wonderful saison:

I've been trying some Irish craft ales recently

Brewed, in Longford the Pale Ale was quite nice.

This stuff is lovely. Really smooth taste with a nice hoppy kick.

This stuff was very drinkable. They have changed the label recently.

It's great to see so many craft breweries starting in Ireland.
It might be one thing that helps saves the Irish pub

Old Speckled Hen is an ale and Boddingtons is bitter though? Also OSH is better from a bottle.

I recommend this, Bass Pale Ale. Been in Sainsburys and Asda for £1.25 lately.

I've been drinking a lot of Hennepin myself lately. Great stuff.
