Went to the Rose and Crown in Bebington last week. Had two old favourites, Trappers Hat and Thwaites bitter, both in lovely condition. Also tried Thwaites Halfdan porter, which wasn't heavy as some can be and to mind very fruity, but what do I know as the beer clip said chocolatey.
Anyway, would definitely drink again. They've got a lovely log fire and it was all very civilised, that is until they put the piped music on - that didn't last long.
