Had a few pints today, the quality was very poor. Tried a few pubs I haven't been before, disappointing in the main - cold, over loud music, expensive, and beers too cold. Beers not well kept methinks.
This was by far the best, a quality brewery that never disappoints. One pub had vimto on draught, apparently popular in cocktails.

They already sell Guinness in the park end.
It’s not great but it’s so much better than a coors or carling obviously.
Bit surprised by this as its not part of Molson Coors/Carling "the official beer partner of Everton FC". Standards are slipping (thankfully)
In my defence... it's only waffer thin.
This was the hotel house beer :
Bridge Inn Blonde 3.8% - Independent Lakeland Breweries.
They had Coniston Bluebird on too and I preferred this.
Very lightly hopped, but zesty at the same time.

Had some Sapporo sitting in the fridge for sushi takeout and it’s been too long. Grilled fish last night and some Asian style tonight and it’s such a lovely pour.
Found my favorite beer at a gas station just a few blocks away. Perfect summertime brew.
Been too long since I had this, although for a summer brew I’m now partial to your northern neighbor Karbach’s Love Street.
