The Belgian Kriek Beer ( cherry ) is beautiful ice cold in the Summer.

It’s a great summer daytime drink.

Whatever I had left a somewhat disturbing artificial aftertaste in my gob - most disconcerting.

For all the Yankee Bluedle Dandies....gives off standard (ie. not NA, which I didn't know they made) Blue Moon vibes. Never been a fan of IPA's but the NA nature has a positive affect. 8/10

Look, I get it...boy, do I get it...but putting in a second shout for this. Saved my life.

The Guinness in the excelsior is the best around at the minute. Really upped their game.

Lad behind the bar was even timing how long to let it settle for haha.

Had a great Friday in there watching the races and sinking a good few of them.

Dovedale Towers ?

Nah, lived round there 80s/90s, it was open for about 3 weeks in 10 years. Think it changed soon as I left. Remember Fogertys and Penny Lane wine bar, then nothing that way till the Storesdale a mile away. Hard times.

The Storrsdale is my local...The Guinness in there is a solid 7.8/10 but I've got to mark it down due to it being Extra Cold...they do a well kept White Rat mind.

Absolutely gets my goat when pubs don't have original on the bar.

My mates are sick to death of me saying Stout should not be cold ha!

Yep...this was me early on Sunday.

Guinness was absolutely on form...This was actually Guinness original.

So after all my waffling about it being them servings extra cold,they actually had original on

I’ll have a walk up from town one time after work.

I want to see who does the best Guinness in liverpool before I move out but will try anywhere I know that does a murphys.

Must be new in the lion as I’ve not seen it there before.

Wouldn’t it be great if they sold Murphy’s or Guinness at BMD
