Fancied an Ice cold one to start tonight.
Got these in the chill draw for later
Not fan of Stella in this country but if you go on the continent it's a completely different drink,same with Heineken.
This is a very unique brew, a red ale, almost bordering on a fruit style but with a definite chocolate hit that really comes in on the aftertaste.
Cracking beer.
Tonight a Belgian sour while cooking pancakes.
Recently had the chance to try “Hazelnut Marty” from Prairie and while I have a rule that I try every new Prairie that’s not IPA, I had to pass on this one. American Imperial Stout, 15% abv, barrel aged with coffee and hazelnut flavor sounds great but at $30 a pour it’s just too much even for me.

They do a beer called Peanut butter weekend that constantly keep my eye out for.

One for the Guinness lovers,I went to Peter Kavanaghs in town last night and Guinness was absolutely exceptional.
There is still rationing going on, too.
I'll be amazed if Guinness haven't brewed enough...bare in mind Guinness have one of the best marketing teams in the world.
People will be more inclined to buy it in the pub if they're worried it's going out run out.
But then again that's me ex publican hat on.
Had a dalliance with a couple of the barmaids In The Cali in another life so it's safe to say i don't frequent it anymore haThe Caledonian over the road does a good pint of Guinness too
