Beer, revisited

Been over in South York’s, this was a new brewery to me.

Bradfield Brewery - Farmers Blonde (4%)

I’m quite wary of Blonde ales, as a lot of them tend to be over hopped, but this was perfect. Circusy, without being over powering and really well balanced.

Plus the licensee obviously knew how to look after real ale, as the temp was prefect too.

100% a 10/10 beer.

My local has started selling this abomination - Doom Bar keg.

I had a taste of it and the only way to describe it, would be like drinking very cold dishwater.

Apparently, it’s to give licensees an alternative to Doom Bar cask, as it lasts longer, as it’s put through a chiller.

Truly dreadful.
So, they've replaced shabite with even worse shabite?
