Beer, revisited

Never heard of dark lager, anybody tried it ?

I can’t remember it’s name, but I had one in the Craven Arms, in N. Yorks, last year.

It tasted like a bit like a fizzy stout.

That makes it sound like it wasn‘t very nice, but it wasn‘t actually too bad, it just took a bit of getting used to.

It was a pint you could linger over, rather than drink quickly, which made it a good session drink ( I was drinking it, as I can’t drink as quickly as the lads I was with ! )

If Budvar are making it, it’ll be decent.

A Welsh brewery I haven't come across before.very easy to drink, unfortunately. lol

I also had a few Belgian beers, whose name escapes, can't imagine why. It was flavoured with Cassis, and the abv was not very high. It was like drinking alcohol flavoured Ribena. I have the paracetamol at arms length.
