Hope they reinstate the 'Finest' lager. That stuff was tremendous.

A well kept Cains Bitter was of the best bitters you could drink.

Some of the Sam Smiths pubs in Central London are stunning inside and incredibly well priced for London.

Their beer is an acquired taste though ( I like them )

Yeah, they have some very nice buildings. Unfortunately a lot of them are linked to legal history and barristers, attorneys etc love going to them in the working week so I avoided them as don't want to see anyone I knew from that side, I think they are fine at the weekends

Don't really have any problems with their beers but the owner is a bit of an arse

Getting some Maibock next week and hopefully some light summer bock some time towards the end of the month. Some of my favourite beers of the year and a good change-up after the heavier double bocks of the winter.

Added: I think this claims to be the oldest brewery in the world, although it battles for the title with the one in Freising.

100%. Also went the Gladstone near Borough station, another cracker

Decent little beer fest in my town today. Not sure if I'll attend since the days of me waiting in long lines for beer are past me, but lots of local beers along with some more national brands. I am particularly fond of Ommegang and Victory. Deshuttes is also good.

Stone IPA used to be one of my favorites. Looks like a good lineup. Enjoy and be safe!
