I re visited the Pheasant Plucker last night, just as good as last week and Bowland are definitely a brewery I’ll keep my eye out for in the future.

Grabbed a Gulden Draak mixed 6 pack with some styles I've never tasted before, that was a nice trip.

Visited three dens of iniquity today.
Love Lane Brewery : Hipsters' paradise, and also seem to be populated by an inordinate amount of construction workers, which doesn't bode well. Tried :
It was delicious, but outrageously expensive at £4.20 for a 'schooner', which was little more than a glass in old money.
Popped into the Dispensary and had a couple of :
Nice session beer, tasty and very quaffable.
The nicest was from my local, and if there hadn't been an excellent chippy next door more would have been drunk.

Beer festival in Port Sunlight next week.
Alas, a very rare sight these days.
If a pub stocks Bass nowdays, you`re safe in knowledge that it`s a pub that`s passionate about beer that all of their other beers will be top notch too.
Always a cracking event that, great place for it. Is this the first post-covid one?

Silky smooth, creamy imperial stout with a delicious aniseed finish. Ace.
