Beer, revisited

It seems they are. This is the first one I've had of theirs.

Not a massive fan of a lot of the 'pastry' stouts, prefer something like Rain Shadow or Kernel Imperial Brown, but this one is fairly well balanced considering. The dark chocolate is actually bitter which helps.

500ml bottle of 11%+ went down quite easily over 2 hours or so.

Think I may try a few more. Great value compared to Omnipollo.
Sori (Finnish lads brewing in Estonia) are worth a look if you like Impy's. A more reasonable price point than the Amundsen's and as you say, Omnipollo's of this world.

Yes to Buxton, too. One of my favourite brewery's ;)

Edit: I neglected to add I also am a fan of pastry stouts

The Cwtch red ale is really good but overall they can be hit and miss.
Sorry, yes mate, that is a nice beer.

I have discovered that I tend to be a fussy so and so when it comes to craft beer/real ale. I suppose it is because there are so many good beers being brewed that even an mid range one can be disappointing. Because of that, I tend to go for brews that are big on flavour.

A couple of brews from them that I would like to try.

That Siren collaboration sounds nice, don't see too many barley wines.
