Nice, very slight taste of lychee, so a good hoppy ale with a twist.

As it is from me. It’s on par with the time I booked a hotel in Amsterdam because of the promised twenty-four hour bar, which turned out to be a can machine.

This is worth grabbing if you see it, lactose IPA from Brewdog, one of their seasonals.

Couple of craft beers from last night :

Lancashire Loom 4.2 % - Martland Mill Brewery ( Wigan )

Forever 4% - Strawberry Fields Brewery ( Liverpool)

The Lancashire Loom is a golden ale, lovely and with a very pleasant after taste.

The Forever is an American IPA. I wasn’t too fussed on it tbh.

Wasn't after ale in the shops today but clocked a broken pack of 7 White Shield for 6 quid, nothing spectacular but a very solid bottle conditioned, proper IPA. Top curry beer this one. 8 packs are only a tenner in Sainsbury's which is damn good value anyway.
Enjoying while England bring the runs in.

White Shield got ruined when Worthingtons got taken over by Coors a few years back.

The pre Coors bottles are one of the best bottled ales you`ll ever taste and are highly sought after as a result.

It was one of the only beers that I can think of that had sediment in the bottom like home brew !
