Lads it's not like we've been playing crap, creating nothing and leaking goals. A wee bit of luck today and that game would have had a very different ending. So relax. The goals (and the wins) will come. Lets get behind the new manager instead of slating him undeservedly so early in the season.

If we had end product, we would be playing some of the best football in the league. We dont though, and its the end product which matters. I dont feel with the players we have, we can be the team Marty wants us to be. We need a striker of pure class, instead of our 4 very ordinary and talentless strikers we have.

I happen to agree with the OP.

I know it may not be perfect, but in a period of transition, we have kept two clean sheets out of three in the league, and have progressed in the League Cup. We are yet to be beaten.

It's all about re-educating supporters, used to large dollops of hoofball when things dont go right with the ground game*, to accept patience with passing the ball. I said from the off it'd be Martinez's biggest task as it's a huge cultural shift to get people's heads around.

When people are asking for 'mixing it up' they're basically asking for another manager. This feller will do it his way and it'll work or it wont. Better to get behind it because the feller isn't going to throw out his principles overnight, no matter how much those demanding direct play want him to.

Hate to be negative but in the four games so far how many saves has the keeper made. Today I saw one with all the possession. love the change of style and think it will work but need to work keepers.

Honestly, all we lacked today was a finisher. We totally outplayed them in the second half, and dominated large parts of the first. I say again, with a slice of luck we could be having a very different conversation.

Agreed. If we had van Persie we'd now be sat top of the league with 9 from 9. Fact. The bigger fact though is that we don't have van Persie. So we've got to be creating more so that on the law of averages we get to score a few. So to be wasting one of our biggest attacking threats (Fellaini) by restricting him to knocking ineffectual sideways passes deep in our our own half or in defensive midfield is criminal.
