I voted yes cos I have a season ticket, and have had for the past 14 years or so.
Must confess I have given my seat to various mates this season...Swansea ,and the West Ham game..I had gut feelings we would be crap,so gave em both a miss.
Will always support the club but have had reservations about Martinez since the day he was appointed.
Becoming quite concerned now....he is stubbornly persisting with his flawed and failing methods, just like he did with Wigan.
Time to step it up Martinez or get the hell out of our club before it's too late for us,AND YOU....

And then hopefully you will all remember that we are fans of our football club. TO SUPPORT THE TEAM!! Funny how no one posted these comments after the WOLFSBURG game as you have been laughed at, just one defeat and a draw later all this, all entitled to voice opinions and in my opinion its over the top.COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!!

Don't kid yourself, all you fatasses who don't go to Goodison , typing some trash on this forum have no influence in anything, except your fat expanding bodies.

Us minor people at the club laugh at you, the people in serious power are not aware you exist,

Im sorry mate but the idea that some people cant make it the game makes them less of a fan is ridiculous. In goodison, at home, in america, anywere in europe, it was evident to see that when the tippy tappy stuff isnt working martinez has no plan b. Im a season ticket holder and lets just say i was envious of those sitting at home last night in the warmth watching jenna jameson retro vids. Utter crap last night.

Our passing when it clicks, is a joy to watch, ie passing Arsenal to death at home last year, with the crowd singing as we did

But yesterday it was awful, meaningless passes with no movement in front of the back four, eventually leading Jags to pass to Distin and he would just hoof it to Hull, any spark was just gone after Kev went off

Hi guys, im new around here and please forgive me for being a spurs fan. Ive been lurking on here since midway through last season as I was really interested in the "Martinez Project" as for me he was somebody I wish we had gone for when we sacked Arry instead of appointing AVB.

Anyway, I feel compelled to actually reply to one of your threads and especially this one because it is almost exactly the same as whats being written on Tottenham forums and being spoken about by spurs up and down the country.

First of all I think the OP may have over-reacted to a poor result when he created this thread but he did make some very valid points. Unfortunately for us (Spurs & Everton) Man City and Chelsea got this influx of cash and has basically blown the Premier League out of the water. Lets be honest there are only 2 or maybe 3 teams (as I believe Utd will continue to spend) that are gonna win the league nowadays which in itself is a really sad state of affairs as whats the point in competing in a competition that you're never going to win? Also if Chelsea and Man City hadn't got the influx of cash then chances are it would be us 2 that would be in the best place to gobble up the extra spot of entering "the promise land".

Your style of play right now is very much like the style that AVB loved so much, slow build up, lots of sideways passing, retaining possession and scoring the almost "perfect goal" every time. When it working, like last season then its great, when things get a little bit tougher and its not paying off then its the most frustrating thing to watch as a supporter. You just want to yell at someone to get it forward or to coin a sunday league phrase "put it in the mixer". For what its worth, every Tottenham supporter will tell you that we as a club are still broken from the AVB days, our play is still as slow now (until the last 2 games) as it was when AVB thankfully left. So what im saying is, I can understand the supporters anger but be very careful as we have proved its a very slippery slope to get on and even harder to get off it.

As alluded to earlier, "the promise land" of champions league. Before we started challenging for the race for the top 4 every other season lets be honest with each other we were [Poor language removed] (and so were Everton). At the time it was a highlight just to win a bloody game but the fans were brilliant no matter who we were playing. Nowadays because you're in a battle for the top 4 EVERY game feels like groundhog day, you can feel it in the stadium and in the match day forums, every game is "must win". This leads to anxiety in the crowd and every missed chance or misplaced pass is greeted with extra long groans which lets face it doesn't help anyone. Whats worse is that every game that you don't win feels like a defeat (in our case this season, it mainly has) so the level of anxiety and frustration goes up another gear.

Im not sure how to end my first post on here and whether ive actually made any sense in what I was trying to say but ill post it anyway. Here's hoping we both finish the season ahead of the other gobshites from Liverpool hey?

Absolutely spot on post mate.

You could feel the anxiety and desperation around the ground last night. I almost feel sorry for the players in a way. It's not a lack of trying, it's just that we've been found out. And despite certain players having poor games, it mustn't have been great playing in front of our crowd yesterday.

We have a right to be unhappy at the moment don't get me wrong, and last night wasn't acceptable against a team like Hull, but some of our supporters at the moment are moaning gobshites because things aren't going perfectly according to plan. If you put aside the fact that our away followings are as good as any in the country at the moment, the backing we are giving in actual support is a disgrace.

Everyone just turning up sat there in silence expecting to be entertained. Well we have a role to play as well, and all this whining is a bit pathetic to be honest.

But you're right about the style of play, and about City and Chelsea making it even harder for the likes of us and Spurs. The only thing I would say is that i'd much rather it was like this, with hope and expectation, than the dark days of the 1990's or some of the period during Moyes stint.

To be honest I'm not excited when a game comes around anymore, if I didn't have my season ticket I wouldn't be buying tickets.
Looks like not many non-STHs are. The crowd last night would have included fewer than 4,000 of them.

When the Barnsley Beckenbauer comes back we'll all be salivating over bobby's delicious football. Obviously when he comes back we'll blame the awful football on somebody's else's absence, kopite style.

I've been less arsed for several years now tbh. Might just be an aspect of getting older and, ahem, more mature but it definitely takes up less of my life than it used to.

Having said that it's still easily my biggest interest and takes up more of my time than anything else on the planet. So i'm a little bit arsed, obviously.

I honestly feel disappointed that were getting out sung by 100 Hull fans who are only singing to take the piss. My biggest grievance i have is the desire players are showing, after every game on social media they're always saying oh well lets hope we do better next week instead of going, we were poor there and we need to do better. Its like they just not bothered anymore, so if they arent why should we be? Also why is Leighton Baines breaking our hearts, hes not the same anymore

I have never actually heard this before and I appreciate it so much that you've introduced it to me. As far as names go, that's not bad at all.

If anyone CBA, and is donating a season ticket, I promise to go in and sing my head off every week.

Be arsed after a disappointing draw that feels like a defeat? Nah.

Be arsed again next time? Damn right. Recovery period init.
