I sat through worse times than this and never once thought about packing it in.

You think it's a morgue now?

I was there when we had 13,000 versus Coventry circa 1982.

FFS man, you're a Blue.

You can never give it up.
It can all change is the blink of an eye as well - less than a week ago we had a great game vs Wolfsburg, a win versus City and the world will look a much better place.

Excellent point.

One of our lowest points ax a fanbase was circa January 1984.

We were struggling in the league.....crowds were down....the team was crap....people were calling for Howard's head.

Then on a cold night under Oxford's dreamy spires one Kevin Brock underhit a backpass
and a little blond striker rounded the goalie......:celebrate: :pint2:

I was one of those that followed Everton on the back of that success, I'm a bad glory hunter ;)

I voted no until the next fixture when no doubt they will make me break something in a Rumpelstiltskin foot stomping rage
Now you mention it, ive strangely not broke anything in my house for quite a while. Ceiling fans, tv remotes and door knobs have been previous victims of mine.

I fear its brewing again

man up the lot of you (ladies too)
we've been through worse

I think this is our epiphany and Bobby will turn this around. Ok we're not going to hit the heights of last year's league placing probably, but its only December and we're mid-table. Start squalking if we've lost 5 on the bounce and we're in the bottom 3 in April. As it stands, we'll have injured players coming back, January window if we need to strengthen, we're in the Europa League and FA Cup still and I for one think Martinez and the players are bright enough to sort it out.

So yeah, I'm still arsed.

Everton have been boring to watch this season... I said after the villa game that I found the game boring... When you win it's ok ... But when we loose i think I can't be arsed... Because it seems like the players can't... I can't find watching players pass backwards exciting... Especially when chasing a goal.. And Martinez recent moyes like decisions to play people out of position is just making it even harder to get excited as one of the few things I go enjoy watching is young players playing

For me, nothing is worse than the last 3 years of Moye's reign at the club. Until that point it felt like something was happening, i don't know what but something was. Then everything just fell into place and it dawned on most of us with sense that we weren't going to achieve anything under moyes and it was the same thing every year. Too much to say why but point is i didnt look forward to watching us play at that point because every game felt like we were going to lose.

Now i'm happy to go with whatever roberto gives us. A top side is in us, we just aren't bringing it out sadly. Over the past what 15 months or so i have seen a team rip other teams apart. I have seen us look like we are going to score with every attack and i have seen players enjoying themselves again. If we put all the puzzle together we will be a force in both leagues, but it is whether roberto can do that or not.
